Over the weekend, Hudson Valley Community College student-athlete Freddie Callo, a placekicker/punter on the football team, broke the program record with 49 career PATs (Point-After-Touchdown) in the Vikings 27-18 road win at the Connecticut Wild on Sunday, Oct. 30.
Callo is the program’s all-time leader in point-after-touchdowns (PATs), or extra points. He converted on all three PATs he attempted, which gives him the all-time mark record with 49 PATs, and counting.
Callo and the Vikings have one more game on Nov. 5, a road match at Nassau. Callo is two successful PATs away from breaking the single-season record and two field goals away from setting the career field goal mark as well.
